Flange connection is a connection method consisting of a pair of flanges, gaskets, bolts and nuts. First, weld or otherwise fix the two flanges with the pipes or equipment ports that need to be connected, then place gaskets between the flanges, and then use bolts and nuts to fasten the two flanges together. The connection is firm, easy to disassemble, and has a wide range of applications.
The clamping connection is a connection method that uses bolts to directly clamp the valve and the pipes at both ends together. The flange pieces are installed at both ends of the pipes that need to be connected. The connecting piece valve is placed between the two flange pieces and is clamped and fixed by fasteners such as bolts. It has a compact structure and takes up less space. It is mostly used in butterfly valves. It is simple to install and does not require complicated welding and other processes.
Threaded connections mainly rely on the cooperation of external threads and internal threads to achieve connection. They are often used in small valves with limited pressure tolerance and are generally suitable for medium and low pressure conditions. Screw the external thread of the valve into the internal thread of the pipe, or screw the external thread of the pipe into the internal thread of the valve, and the valve and the pipe are tightly connected through the screwing of the threads.
Butt welding connection is to connect the valve and pipe together through welding material. The welding is firm and suitable for harsh working conditions such as high temperature and high pressure. The sealing of the welding joint is good, which can effectively prevent fluid leakage. But it is not easy to disassemble after installation.
Clamp connection is a quick connection method. Align the connection parts of the valve and the pipe, put the sealing ring on the connection, and then put the clamp on the outside of the sealing ring. Tighten the clamp by tightening the bolt, thereby connecting the valve and the pipe. The pipes are tightly connected together. Suitable for low-pressure valves that are frequently disassembled.
